ok so this is my review of resistance 3.. i just beat it last ni- this morning actually
this is another game i had in my backlog this game came out in 2011.. it definitely felt dated.. it felt somewhat generic at some points.. like a generic action movie almost.. but it wasn't bad.. it was nonstop action pretty much and it had enough variety to keep it feeling fresh.. it also had some set piece moments that helped to keep me engaged i only listened to this on a regular tv.. no stereo or headphones but from what i could tell the sound was not that great.. the monsters made a questionable sound when they died, the soundtrack was pretty run of the mill standard orchestral action music, the guns didn't seem to have as much umph as they could have had.. also at times i could barely hear the people chiming in on my receiver thing.. overall though, i wouldn't say the sound was bad i would just say it wasn't exceptional there were some glitches in the game.. but they weren't game breaking or anything.. more like mildly humorous graphics were good.. not on the level of a naughty dog ps3 game, but they were good.. very detailed.. and the game oftentimes has a lot going on which adds to the richness of the visual gameplay was good.. there was nothing particularly special about it, but the guns were fun to cycle through and use, also it was satisfying killing the enemies.. i liked this electricity gun that sucked enemies in a lot a lot of games today do this thing where they sort of diss people who don't have left leaning views or they have feminism baked into the game.. this game doesn't have ANY of that at all.. actually this game is kinda the opposite because at one point you meet this group of Christians in the game and they are all really cool.. and the main guys are all heroes and not cucks i would give it an 8 for its release year of 2011, although today it feels dated, and this game doesn't have the level of polish of the killzones on ps3.. but what this game does- it does well overall it could have used more originality.. and another coat of paint to iron out some of the glitches.. but it had a nice pace, fun gameplay, tolerable story etc.. it was kinda by the numbers but it wasn't necessarily a bad thing.. it seemed like ps3s take on a halo.. like a sci-fi first person shooter basically a few quick points the story was simple.. the guy just wanted to live in peace with his family enemies were pretty grotesque.. especially later in the game.. kinda creepy on some parts i was able to run to the next checkpoint without fighting anyone lol played it on normal.. difficulty was fine, not too hard or too easy thats pretty much it.. i wouldn't exactly recommend it, but if a person plays it, they probably will have fun
