if i was to say serena williams looked like a man, there's maybe a 50% chance my mom would say i was wrong there's a 100% chance my sister would say i was wrong well one day i showed my mom and sister a pic of serena williams where she looked like she has been bleaching i didn't say anything, i just sent the picture the first thing they both said was "that's a man" i told them that was serena williams and they were in disbelief... this was less than a year ago but my point is.. women will gaslight you if i just made an offhand comment saying "you know, serena williams looks like a man" my sister would probably go off on me and lecture me about how i hate women and i need to stop saying they look like men and black women have struggled throughout history and blah blah blah but i sent that picture and both my mom and my sister responded with "that's a man" i'll try to find the picture so u guys can see here it is anyway my point is, don't let women gaslight you
they are generally speaking out of triggered emotions and not logic or wisdom and the crazy part is.. sometimes if u allow them to gaslight you, then their safety is what's at stake because you can see them walking into a trap sometimes, but u feel like u can't warn them without having some crazy argument, or breaking rapport, or being brow beaten u can't really afford to care what they think don't let them gaslight you having my sister say it was a man really showed me how much women gaslight us, because if i said "serena williams looks like a man" my sister would go off on me.. but when i just simply sent a picture, the first thing out of her mouth was "that's a man" not even "she looks like a man" my mom and sister both said "that's a man"
