i wrote this a while back and had it saved in a folder.. decided to post it today
this is just my thoughts on drugs- mainly the ones people do for recreational purposes..
REAL medication like the ish ur grandma takes for her heart is not what i'm talking about.. anyway.. here it is..
i don't think every drug or medication is bad, like say u have pain and u take a pill that's fine but that's a lot different than taking some weird psychedelic or whatever to get high
the problem with drugs is a lot of drugs people do have spiritual consequences, u have to think about things in the context sometimes of the spiritual realm.. what does this do to me? what could it possibly do? what could it cause me to do or think?
like ur not just physically taking a drug, u are affecting the realm of the invisible.. a lot of our actions have consequences which we don't see..
like in the satanic bible one passage says "take wine and strange drugs to worship me"
ur not just taking a drug, u are doing something which has spriritual consequences... say u take lots of psychedelic drugs to get high.. u are getting closer to satan, u are basically inviting demons to chill with u.. inviting demonic forces to get closer to u and speak to you
recently a lot of people are doing salvia.. you can youtube it and watch people trip.. well the full name of salvia is salvia divinorum.. aka "the diviner's sage"
what is divination?
Divination (from Latin divinare "to foresee, to be inspired by a god", related to divinus, divine) is the attempt to gain insight into a question or situation by way of a standardized process or ritual
ok so pool boy what's ur point?
“When you enter the land which the Lord your God gives you, you shall not learn to imitate the detestable things of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who casts a spell, or a medium or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead" (Deuteronomy 18:9-11).
(btw ^this is not the only place where the bible says divination is wrong)
divination can be a lot of diff things, astrology, tarot, ouija board, the list could go on.. essentially when u do it u r communing with demonic entities.. u may think it is a good spirit but it isn't.. artists and musicians are into this a lot.. one easy example being carlos santana
^copy and paste that link if u are interested in learning about this
but back to drugs..
when u do certain psychedelic drugs it can be a direct form of divination..
u have to think like.. what am i opening myself up to?
just like how a lot of times people will say "i took lsd and i learned new things.. my whole perspective on life has changed" well who gave them all these new perspectives on life?
well, a lot of things demons want to tell u, they will tell u when u are under the influence of some weird drug.. whatever they tell u may remain in your subconscious and change ur outlook of life until u become basically reprobate and/or a puppet of their agenda
and there are SOME drugs where.. after u do them, u can no longer tolerate the Bible.. hearing it read will literally make u vomit.. because that altered state produces in you an environment that can't be or doesn't want to be inhabited by the Word of God
i think there are levels of this.. like i imagine weed is likely on the weaker end of the spectrum and something like lsd is on the stronger end and therefore u come away with more demonic insights and the strongholds in your life become tighter.. because that's what demons are here for basically.. to enslave u in sin on earth so that they can enslave u in hell after death
on a less dramatic level, drug use (like any sin) can separate us from God..
basically this is what satan wants to do to u with drugs.. hook u with something u want, let u enjoy it, then at some point he wants to make u pay for it dearly.. that's why u see these people laughing and having a good time on these drugs.. yes they are having fun, but once they're over u may have hell to pay literally or figuratively
