in 2005 i said to myself
"james, u don't know how to go about getting a radio show, but just TRY" so i sat down, got on the internet and just applied to a bunch of radio stations that i could find about a month later i got a call and i got my own radio show at a college.. i didn't get paid but i didn't care i was never out for money i wanted to do it for the love of music and also to have an audience and see what radio was like and i wanted to play my own music from time to time i had a night job at target at the time and my show was right after work.. i'd go home, change clothes, lay down for an hour.. then i was off driving 45 minutes out to do my show.. it was inconvenient but it was really cool what amazed me the most is that i achieved my goal even though i really was just "cold calling" at the time... i had no idea how to look for a radio position and by just looking around online for one or two nights i made my dream a reality this is something i need to do today.. find a way to make certain things happen for myself if possible not that worldly ambitions are the most important thing in life but at the same time we should make the best of our time here on earth soo.. i don't know man.. i'd say my life could definitely use some of whatever i was on back in 05 btw.. here's my assessment of having a radio show: having a radio show is cool but i'd say its not for me because after a while it becomes boring.. a lot of radio is really like planned out for you there are certain songs u have to play, and u have a few (if any) open slots to play other things.. college radio is way more lenient with this but u probably will never be paid doing college radio also u sometimes have to do commercials and news and stuff vocally.. well what if they want u to promote something u don't want to promote? radio to me is like a 9 to 5.. its not really exciting, its fun for a while but its not like an amazing career

all i wanted was a chance from teh get-go/
u didn't wanna dance? u coulda said no/ u said yes.. but u meant no/ lead me on 4 ya own ego das ya m.o./ ^this is a chorus i want to use.. i came up with it in like 30 seconds and ish.. it was basically freestyled while i was listening to a beat i really like it.. i keep replaying it in my head getting ready for which beat i'm gonna use it on and thinking about how the song will be this one will be another real one from the pages of my life hopefully i get a chance to make it soon!!!! disclaimer note: in this blog i am addressing the artistic side of music (sound and creativity and self expression) not the moral side or anything like that.. only the artistic integrity side sidenote: her friend on the left of her in the car (her left, not yours.. red dress) is madd entertaining to me i don't get why so many people hate on this song/video when i first heard it i thought it was dope.. its actually original.. when i first heard it i was AMAZED.. like wow someone made a song that appears different! i don't get why people say certain music is dumb or whatever.. like to me what's dumb is sounding like everything else people say its stupid but to me its.. how can i put it.. pleasantly quirky.. like i don't see how its a negative to be yourself like how she talks about something as trivial as which seat to sit in.. people say its dumb but i say its kinda humorous and (like i said) "quirky" .. i don't see how it is a NEGATIVE and her voice is amazing to me.. like wow i've never heard someone sound like that, but its still audibly pleasing.. i appreciate this song, its as if someone made a song without studying other songs first its like a song that breaks music theory almost.. i've been appreciating artists who can achieve that for YEARS.. like tricky for example.. he is a major example because he created his own genre (trip-hop) but come to think of it, pretty much every artist i like has done something very remarkable, original, creative, etc i remember a long time ago i had a discussion with a girl.. she said "i hate nelly furtado, her voice sounds so weird" .. i was like "yeah exactly, that's what makes it good" and i could tell the girl never thought of it like that.. to me, originality is what makes something worth listening to i have a hard time seeing why people diss this song or other things like it "pool boy.. what else is like this song?" ok u want to know what rebecca black's song reminds me of? yep.. "crank that" from soulja boy this was the exact same sort of thing when it came out as what rebecca black's song is today it was original, it was a young person's song.. a new style, a different sort of construction it came off as foreign and it was met with so much hate.. like no joke the first time i saw the crank that video i was like "wow this is dope" i don't get why a person would say soulja boy sucks.. a lot of "legit" artists don't even write their own songs but soulja boy had multiple mixtapes out before this song even hit the airwaves he wrote all his own lyrics, made his own beats, he even made his own dances and people still said he sucked.. HOW DOES THAT SUCK!? just from a creativity and artistic standpoint.. how can u say that sucks? personally, i was amazed at crank that because i'd never heard a voice used the way he used it on the chorus.. like if u listen to the beat there's really not much to it.. its really the vocals that bring that song to life.. to me that is an audible accomplishment, like when do u hear a rap song with that kind of build-up effect? its almost like a rock song.. and come to think of it.. travis barker did do a drum remix of it.. personally i don't see how people miss what made it work.. its as if people have no power of perception or its like people diss something and everyone else jumps on the bandwagon like for example.. i don't listen to celine dion.. but i'm not going to go around talking about how awful her music is, its just NOT FOR ME.. just because something is not for u doesn't mean its awful sidenote: soulja boy's new mixtape cover is pretty cool imo so my point in writing this entry is mainly to say my view is that from an artistic standpoint, its not really fair or right to say someone is terrible just because its wildly new or unheard of or it appears dumb at first sight
DONT GET ME WRONG, i don't sit around listening to rebecca black or soulja boy i'm just saying that TO ME, they have just as much a right to do their music as anyone else.. if it sounds different or "stupid" or "weird" i think that is normally a positive in such a dry and boring musical landscape man i haven't had coffee in... i don't know i think like 5 days? i really miss it.. i just don't have any money right now so i'm coffee-less i drank some pop but that stuff is gross.. its too sweet and its unpleasant to drink i have a jug of water but it still just sits there.. water is like the most boring thing to drink last night was THE WORST so far tho.. i mean.. i'm fine in that i haven't had headaches or anything like that.. but the actual desire was so strong last night that it was bonkers i was having conversations with people and it was all i could talk about lol i think the 4th or 5th day without coffee is normally always the worst because that's the day where its really like completely out of ur system and ur body wants u to get back into that routine seriously for about 2 hours or so last night i felt like i was goin bananas.. like on some standup, pace the room, then sit back down type ish after that comes the feeling of freedom.. like this morning i DO want coffee, but there is a certain freedom in not drinking it i'm late to this, but i just saw on tv that james ray.. one of the main contributors to "the secret" is charged with murder for a sweat lodge he oversaw he apparently told the people that when they were in the sweat lodge that they'd "feel like they were dying" and three people died so now he's on trial this isn't coinciding with the law of attraction man! these people are kinda bonkers to me because they try to make their own way and their own righteousness and their own rules
like for example there was fasting that went along with the sweat lodge treatment.. why are people fasting when they don't believe in the God of the Bible? like what is the sacrifice for? do u think ur gnna reach some type of "enlightenment?" i guess u will be enlightened to the fact that u are hungry as a mug lol people are out here making up rituals in order to feel righteous.. u think u can will ur way into and out of everything right? u think u can will ur soul into heaven? u better pick up ur Bible son whateverz UPDATE (this is about 15 minutes later) i am still watching the court tv hearing on this case.. they just showed footage of a sweat lodge to explain it and there was chanting to call in and wake up the "spirits" and they had a real goat's head skull there in their midst the goat head or ram's head is representative of satan worship i say that because in the old testament u'd have to sacrifice a goat to atone for sin but satan would tell his worshippers to get the goat that had been sacrificed (which represented sin) and go worship it (to worship sin) so what's that about! do these people know what they're doing? http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/Evils%20in%20America/devils_music_no_effect.htm
^here is a link to a lot of music exposed from a christian standpoint it shows how a lot of music has satanic influences and things i wanted to put this link out there because i talk a lot about music and stuff but this link exposes a lot of it so if u peep it then u can see for yourself if you are interested this is one of mah fave things to get to eat hawaiian chicken sandwich at backyard burger + z
LETS GO!! i've recently come to the conclusion that i don't believe in buying beats unless u are a big mainstream rapper
i say this because i look at music like.. anytime u collaborate, both the lyricist and the producer are getting publicity i look at music like a joint effort, not something where one person should have all the burden of payment, promo, etc. like take gangstarr for example.. should guru pay primo for beats? NO, cuz they work together.. they get paid off the audience, not off of one another i say if u want to be on a project do it for free.. if it starts to sell then by all means, demand payment.. but not before anyone has a name or a fanbase or anything people ask me for verses i do it for free people ask me for beats i do it for free and don't get me wrong, i can't ALWAYS do it but if i have the time to get around to it.. u can trust me its free lets just work together and help eachother out for free at least until one of us gets our foot in the door or makes some money just wanted to put that out there hollaz i'm only posting this because some people didn't believe me about any of it ok i have heard things here and there about michael jackson being into occult/ satanic things where he'd make deals with entities in order to achieve success.. so i looked it up online and i found a little evidence about it.. btw take this stuff as what i've gathered and not exactly fact that is set in stone: mainly just these things came up: 1. michael jackson supposedly said in an interview that he had a room full of mirrors in his house and he channels in there.. the interview says he channeled liberace.. the bible says ur not supposed to summon the dead or "familiar spirits" (aka demons) 2. the mirror room concept supposedly came from aleister crowley, the author of many satanic books 3. michael jackson dressed like the beatles on sgt. pepper and bought their catalog masters not so much to imitate them, but to somehow get closer to the same satanic spirit that gave the beatles their great success (and yes the beatles were satanic but that's a whole blog in itself.. do the research if ur interested) 4. aleister crowley informs people to learn to do things backwards like write backwards, talk backwards (hence backwards messages in songs), and generally learn to do things backwards.. it is said that michael jackson is obeying crowley when moonwalking 5. people basically worshipped michael jackson like no other.. demons love idol worship, so why not empower him and share in the adulation? .. more on the nature of demons later ok.. now one day i told some people a few of these facts and it wasn't like i was telling them to burn all of their michael jackson albums but i was just expressing some of the stuff i was finding out about mj.. but instead of listening they basically told me i believe too much stupidity and i'm being a ridiculous conspiracy theorist so i let it go but the very next day i walked into borders and i saw a magazine remniscent of eastern religion.. it appeared weird to me then i noticed it said michael jackson on the cover so i flipped through it this to me began to be real evidence that michael was into occult things and probably really did make deals with entities in exchange for great success.. he sold more albums than everyone before or since.. just behind him in album sales i believe are the satanic bands the eagles and the beatles.. (the eagles did hotel california which is supposedly about when anton lavey turned an abandoned hotel in california into a church of satan.. also anton lavey is on the back of that album cover) (the beatles put aleister crowley on their sgt pepper album -which was inspired by an indian yogi- and did songs in code.. so if u got the meaning it would likely be too late and u'd already have subscribed to their belief.. one easy example being "lucy in the sky with diamonds") (led zeppelin is another one.. i actually saw a video where jimmy page did a satanic ritual on stage.. everyone at the show was affected whether they knew it or not) what is fueling these high selling acts that continually sell records? at least in these cases i've just mentioned, i'd say satanic pacts, oaths, channeling, studying, rituals, and more NOW.. moving on to the actual magazine.. it was a magazine from deepak chopra the new age and eastern religion author/speaker (i mentioned him in the blog just before this one) i didn't buy the magazine however like i said i read through it to see what was going on.. so i know what was inside it but today i actually found a video on the magazine, this way i can show u guys pictures and talk about it all ok here's the link to the video http://videosonar.com/2/video/%20944/xg4151.html however u may not even need to peep the link i took some pics from the video, lets start with the cover to the magazine note the 2 cobras on each side, satan is depicted as a serpant in the Bible.. also u can see this is heavy on eastern religion.. i associate eastern religions with satanism because they tell you the same things "you are your own god" "there is no heaven or hell" etc.. since satan is the father of lies, any religion that is telling lies is of the devil they all have the spirit of anti-christ.. people don't understand this but its true.. now.. in eastern religions they promote meditation and chanting and saying things repeatedly.. or "summoning" such as.. (next pic) this guy here pictured with deepak.. george harrison.. he wrote a song called "my sweet lord" that led many people into eastern religion in the song he mixed "hallelujah" with "hare krishna" so as to sneakily have people unknowingly worshipping that eastern god.. he actually admits this in the magazine and u can also find documentation of this online also in the magazine he talks about how he chants the name of that entity repeatedly until he reaches a trance-state or to a point where he cannot stop dancing (worshipping) this entity which is in reality a demon sidenote: even if a person worships an inanimate object (such as a statue of the virgin mary) ..that statue will be inhabited by a demon as i've read that demons/satan both seek human worship more than anything and even if u are not calling them by name, they will inhabit objects and act as if they are being worshipped by you... they can/will inhabit worship of any false god we all know lady gaga is strongly pushing the pro-homosexual anti-christian agenda.. she is one of the biggest if not THE biggest illuminati puppet out there.. even this picture she is doing the eye of horus/ all seeing eye thing she was quoted as saying deepak chopra is the most influential person in her life here's a pic of michael with deepak in the 80s.. there was a story in the magazine by this picture.. deepak talked about how michael jackson was into eastern religion and he and deepak used to go to an occult bookstore called "the bodhi tree" in california.. he said they went in disguises so no one would recognize michael deepak said that michael wanted deepak around to show him which books to choose and how to meditate and channel and other things in my opinion michael used deepak to gain knowledge of how to manipulate the spiritual world to ensure great success.. however when a person participates in divination, they are not manipulating the spirits, the spirits are manipulating THEM.. u may get success but what will u lose in the end? lets hope its not your soul here's another one, here they were goofing off before meditating in the magazine there was one picture of michael jackson that popped out at me for the first time
it was a picture of him doing that pose where he looks like he's doing a "crucifixion" pose.. where both his arms are out and his legs are together.. i had seen that a bunch of times before but i had never thought about it til seeing it in that magazine.. was that a sort of mockery of Christ? was that a sort of "worship me like Jesus" type of pose? who knows.. but this is my evidence that michael jackson was into some weird stuff like i said, the only reason i'm posting this is because some people didn't believe me when i told them a few of the things i was finding out and it kinda made me irritated at the end of the day.. i have compiled what appears to be the links between michael and the new-age occult satanic eastern religion.. as well as what possibly could have been a source of his monstrous success, worldwide worship, and adulation personally i deleted all the michael jackson music i had.. but whatever other people do is not my concern i just wanted to put my findings out there if anyone thinks i'm wrong, please do ur own research and let me know what u find cuz i'm not perfect i just thought this was interesting and wanted to get it off my chest and share it |
