this is what life is about man a hardworking guy and a supportive and loving wife
real talk.. stuff like this is too rare today.. this was my album cover to love is elusive which was completed in 08 people thought it was a good album cover.. they thought i used photoshop or something but all i did was print out pictures, then cut them out then i taped them together and scanned that image.. so its really like an actual collage but i composed each part of it the pool boy name was my actual hand writing with a sharpie.. the cartoon guy was my idea i created in 1998.. i didn't draw it but i always called myself "dablackdougfunny"
then i have the one pic that says "i am in love" which was a microsoft paint image i did which coincides with the album title i also took the pic of my hand writing the lyrics.. the significance of that was to represent that i am saying real things from my heart and that the lyrics are not just rhymes but this is actually what is going on in my head daily.. the words i say are themes in my life mainly the cd cover was supposed to say "hi i'm pool boy, and i have a number of different sides to myself but i've composed a heartfelt, mature, yet humorous album here where each side of myself contributes to the expression -love is elusive, pain is not-" recently i let a graphic designer hear some of my music and he appeared pleasantly surprised a few days later he told me he'd make my next album cover for me for free he said it would normally cost about $1,000 but for some reason i obtained his favor i told him i was excited it got me thinking about what i might want to do for the next cd cover.. i'm not sure yet i was thinking about what i've been going through in life today in 2011 vs what i was going through back when i made love is elusive.. there are 3 main differences 1. i was going through some real things at the time but i guess life still seemed a bit more lighthearted than it does today the bible says in ecclesiastes that wisdom increases sorrow.. i do believe it is better to be wise than to be foolish but i understand what solomon meant when he said that so u have that difference between then and now.. not saying i'm wise.. but i am wisER than i was then and i have that "sorrow" that comes with it 2. another difference is.. love is elusive had a theme of love and how it correlates with life and goals.. well i haven't had any luck with women in a long time so i won't be talking about love, women, and attraction really at all on the new one because that's not a part of my life anymore 3. recently i saw a video on tupac and he said "if i live to see another 20 years i'll change the world.. either that or the world will have to change me because my thought patterns are so wildly different from most other peoples'" .. this is kinda how i feel about myself also and that's what i think my next album will be about.. how i basically don't agree with the popular viewpoints and perceptions and all the issues that surround that fact so i don't know what my new cd cover will be quite yet.. it hasn't hit me yet but if anyone has a comment or suggestion for me.. i'm open! one thing i've been thinking about is like.. career choices i think this is part of the reason i've been having so much trouble this year its like my brain never stops.. it won't shut off because subconsciously i continually think "what am i doing here?" "what am i going to do when i graduate?" "am i just wasting the time and money it takes to go to college or will this pay off?" when i went to counseling i told the guy this and he said its a symptom of anxiety and he said i need to figure some things out in my life he told me to figure out my top problems and we may not get the solutions right now but we'll work on it one thing about music i think about is like.. people have to generally like u in order for them to buy ur album well i like to just be myself.. i don't want the burden of trying to please people like if someone asks me a question i want to answer it truthfully and not just in a way that would be politically correct this is a problem i have with the entertainment industry people are just doing and saying whatever will get them the most fans, ticket sales, album downloads, etc well i really don't care about that ish like yesterday for example.. i just happened to be looking at an artist's interview on youtube.. (the interview took place like 2 months ago) in the interview he was described as a huge rap artist in the uk and he recently came to the states for a tour and they were saying he's really doing big things they said he's got a big following in the uk, and now doors are opening for him in america and things are looking good for his career the interviewer asked him how he got to where he is.. and he basically said a lot of hard work and also his blog helped him because fans were able to keep in touch with him so out of curiosity i went to his blog and when i got there here's what i saw pyramids and all-seeing eyes^ so i'm sitting here thinking.. is hard work and determination the key to success in this industry? ..or is it trend-following and willingness to compromise who and what u are to fit into the evil and subversive agendas of today? i'd answer that its more about the latter than the former i look at his career and i see he is willing to do things that i refuse to do.. i refuse to align myself with all this stuff that's going on i don't perceive him as an artist, i perceive him as a puppet, and that is something i am just unwilling to be if i was in his shoes and the record executive told me my album artwork would have pyramids and all seeing eyes on it, i'd say well good luck with that because i quit but this guy just accepts it.. by accepting this artwork to me its like he's accepting everything else, his content, subject matter, style of dress, everything is and will continue to be in line with all these new age illuminati satanic agendas i refuse to partake in that.. i'm not going to give politically correct answers to questions, i'm not going to rap about being in clubs, smoking weed, i'm not going to perpetuate black stereotypes, i'm not going to do any of that stuff so the question arises.. is there a place in music for a person like me to make a living? can integrity be lucrative in today's society? can a person who is unwilling to go against his core values make a living in a creative industry today? i don't know.. as i look around i'm not really seeing any avenues for that at the moment so what am i going to ultimately do for a living then.. ? to be continued... i ran across a chick today.. she said she got married and didn't want to change her last name.. but she reluctantly changed it to her husband's name because she saw that he was hurt that she didn't want his name smh first of all her guy is a simp.. if a girl doesn't want ur name she isn't worth your time.. he should've kept it moving when she said she wanted to get married and keep her original last name.. i can see a hybrid name perhaps but to just keep ur ish and not change it at all is just symbolically effed up so back to our conversation.. i was telling her "u see how important your original last name is to you? a name means a lot.. its symbolism its not just a name.. so as important as it is to you, its just-as or more important to your husband that u change it" she responded with "why? ..because i'm a woman i should change my name? he didn't have to change his!" SMH.. DUMB at this point i shook my head and walked away.. some people have no understanding of things beyond surface value here she goes with this stupid "women's liberation" rhetoric ok for people who don't know.. get online and do real research on the origin of the feminist movement.. it was funded by the government to get women out the house and in jobs so that they can be taxed because before that, u basically had 50% of the population not being taxed it was a media assault on america to convince women they weren't happy or fulfilled, to undermine a man's natural authority and to subversively disrupt the strongest single unit of america, the family household "if we take mom out the house, then the kids will have to go to school and we can indoctrinate their children" this stuff you see on tv about these "liberated" sex in the city women IS NOT REAL.. women are less happy than they were prior to all the feminist ish.. and women are actually less happy than men today (i saw this on an expose about the feminist movement like 2 weeks ago) women were promised power but instead they just got their responsibilities doubled this is the nature of satan to promise you something but to add a hidden sorrow to it DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY SINGLE MOTHERS OUT HERE WOULD KILL TO HAVE A MAN WORK WHILE SHE TAKES CARE OF THE HOME!? if women want to work that's fine, but my point is that the feminist movement was disguised as "liberation" when it was really meant to disrupt people and their values for example.. i might see a kid with a $100bill.. i could go buy a bag of candy for $5 and tell the kid i'll trade him the bag of candy for that green piece of paper he has.. he would likely say yes and be happy about the transaction but i would know that i outsmarted him THIS HAPPENS ON A MAJOR LEVEL and feminism is an example of it.. again I AM NOT SAYING WOMEN ARE LESS-THAN OR THAT THEY HAVE NO VALUE OR SHOULD NEVER WORK but the point is.. stop letting the media brainwash you.. they are shaping your view of marriage and skewing to it look like it is oppressive to you.. "your husband doesn't love you.. he's a tyrant" .. which is the exact same thing they want to do with your view of Jesus and Christianity on top of that, they get you to leave ur family unit, then they indoctrinate all kids in school with big bang theory, whatever they want to show u about sex education, whatever they want to teach your kids about history, forcing kids to say the pledge of allegiance everyday with their hand over their heart, by the time people get out of high school and college they all think the same and do the same things both parents are busy with their own lives so now tv is a babysitter.. so now there's even more brainwashing.. happy people have houses like THIS, happy people look like THIS, black people can only be THIS, morals are old fashioned.. trans-gender people are "sexually enlightened" unlike the rest of us BORING people.. marriage is highly unsatisfying.. religion causes wars.. Christians have no sense.. abortion is common and morally right and "standard procedure" THIS IS WHAT IS IMPLIED ON TV DAILY IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER ON SHOWS AND COMMERCIALS CONSTANTLY WAKE UP.. this woman i was talking to is so un-intelligent to me that i don't think i can get through to her.. think about it... what man wants to marry a woman and have her still be separate from him in such an obvious way? why not be like "he wants me to have his name because he loves me" ?? why are you instead thinking "this is oppressive to my being" ?? THINK ABOUT WHERE YOU GOT SUCH A NOTION.. you are making something symbolic and beautiful and meaningful into something totally different.. but where did u get these ideas? exactly.. TV, and SCHOOL she said "sometimes i think about divorcing him just to get my name back" at this point i was just like astonished like wow you really don't get it at all these people want to disrupt the natural order of everything.. if you are a woman walking around talking about "i don't need a man" they got you too there is so much corruption that people aren't aware of look i feel like i will be here all night trying to explain this just listen to this and marinate on it ++++++
i turned on BET for a minute today just to see what was on and monique was on there telling women to be strippers "if u make $5 as a waitress isn't that the same as $5 at a strip club?" "strippers probably earn more than women in corporate jobs" "don't judge the profession because strippers can make a lot of money and be upstanding citizens" wow thanks a lot monique.. tell black women that stripping is better for them than jobs where self respect is proper i'm not stupid i can tell ur reading off a teleprompter and i know someone is trying to reach young black women through you.. you are a mere puppet and you should be ashamed of it not everything is worth being rich and famous.. i would rather be broke than be on tv and rich and telling young black men something like "don't knock prison.. don't judge it because you can do a lot of thinking in there.. and you'll have a lot of time to work out too" people really trip me out with that "don't judge it" or "don't judge me" thing too EVERYTHING IS A DECISION, ASSESSMENT, OR JUDGMENT should a person just accept EVERYTHING into their life? its to where people are basically saying "don't use your brain" .. seriously to say "don't judge" is like a disclaimer "i'm about to say something ignorant so DISCLAIMER! your power of perception and judgment will not be necessary for the remainder of my statement." seriously its like some sort of way to push a false-guilt onto people.. its also a covert way to say there is no such thing as right or wrong.. people however get so caught up in the false-guilt that they look no further into it and just allow something wildly ignorant to be said HOW R U GONNA CALL A WOMAN JUDGMENTAL BECAUSE SHE DOESNT WANT TO STRIP AND WHORE HERSELF AND SHAME HER FAMILY? HOW R U GONNA SAY ITS BAD TO HAVE PERSONAL STANDARDS AND SELF RESPECT? im so tired of people trying to justify everything that is sick and depraved and then they try to tell me IM the bad one.. i tell you there's a better way and you proceed to demonize ME! this is why i choose not to care what people are talking about.. cuz people don't have common sense and if ignorance is cool then put me on the side with the trekkies saw this comment left by a girl on facebook a second ago..

If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever." —1st John 2:15-17 NOTE: THIS WILL LIKELY BE DELETED SOON, (because it is so repulsive) BUT I WANTED TO MAKE A POINT ^THIS IS WHY YOU DONT LET YOUR DAUGHTER LISTEN TO NICKI MINAJ ^illuminati pic with the ancient satanic eye in the triangle.. ^then the devil horns used by satan worshippers
people think this is a game man.. real talk people think life is a game.. well look.. people die everyday and hell is a real place.. i don't know what else to say i saw these pics today on a website for a thing on women and their weight.. but i just want to use this as an example first off, its kinda hard to tell but these pics are of the same chick.. normally when u watch tv- on a commercial it would show like the bigger one as the "before" and the thinner one as the "after" but as i've told a lot of people, a lot of times the "before" is way better to me.. like in this case, the bigger version of the chick is way more attractive than the thinner version.. as a matter of fact i'd go as far as to say the thin one would be completely overlooked by teh pool boy this is just something i wanted to put out there thinner isn't always better.. i mean don't go overboard and be fat and sloppy, but women are supposed to have like 18% more body fat than men imo.. if teh pool boy has 6-pack abs.. that is an attractive thing however i DO NOT want my woman having that ish.. u feel what i'm saying? |
