u wanna kno another thing that gets on my nerves.. people who listen to music despite the lyrics or blatant negativity in the song
just because a song SOUNDS good doesn't mean u should listen to it i am one of the biggest music fans u've ever seen probably so i understand how much music means to people but there has to be a point where you draw a line people worship those who make music and it is ridiculous.. like the other day on youtube i went to some hip hop song and someone said that the rapper was "god" ummm.. no.. he is a guy who made a song.. that's it or u have people just clutching onto music despite the negativity a lot of music is just basically negative, even without curse words just to keep you in a negative mindstate like say someone makes a very prideful song.. u may not notice it but the prideful ideas expressed will leave a 'residue' in your mind that will assist in how you view things maybe that prideful song will have ideas like "i'm the best" .. "no one helped me to get where i am" .. "i matter more than everyone around me, etc." then maybe u will begin to see things in a sense of "i am entitled to more than what i have" or "i'm gonna screw them before they screw me" or ........ i'll just give a practical example: 50 cent came out with "get rich or die trying" which translates to "get money by any means necessary" that mindstate doesn't have to always in every circumstance be negative, but in the wrong hands its dangerous "i will sell drugs, or kill, or hurt anyone just to get money" there are so many people out there without fathers today that i feel like every artist needs to be a fairly good role model people are growing up without guidance so sometimes they get it from songs.. they are supposed to get identity and a framework on how to think from daddy mostly but without that base- a lot of kids just get these things from tv, music, and worldly thinking i remember dmx in one song said he had sex with a corpse this is my point.. people take everything way too far.. a song is something u hum and sing along to, something that creates an image in your head.. and u have people out here just saying any old thing to the youth.. constantly breaking down their sensitivity to negative thoughts and actions.. eroding the conscience of all listeners u may have a person who is my age who just listens to any old thing because it sounds good like lil b just put out his album called "i'm gay" and i was telling my friend that i'm not going to listen to that because its garbage.. and my friend is telling me i'm closed minded because its good music.. i'm like I DONT CARE IF ITS GOOD MUSIC.. THE ALBUM IS CALLED "IM GAY" I DONT GIVE A CRAP HOW IT SOUNDS what would be the absolute extreme of negative music? what would be worse than moral erosion? i think the extreme of negative music would be where a person hides demonic spells or chants or witchcraft or backward messages in their song and then puts it out.. then u hear it, u sing along and all of a sudden as u sing along with it u are unknowingly cursing yourself and harboring demon spirits and unknowingly asking them to come into your life do u think this has never happened? i am not saying it happens all the time but i GUARANTEE YOU that it has happened before like for example i have seen jimmy page do a satanic ritual on stage before.. u don't know how these things affect u because spiritual things are invisible but do u think he did it without a reason? jimmy page owns an occult bookstore and also owns aleister crowley's old estate so basically these people who just listen to anything because it sounds good get on my nerves use some discretion don't open yourself up to just anything i know it is sometimes difficult to be responsible about things like this but u gotta at least start somewhere
