i got the deftones album called koi no yokan recently its not nearly as good as what i hoped or expected.. i just really haven't been able to get into this album much.. it lacks a lot of the deftones experimentation i have come to enjoy.. its more like on the scary/angry side less on the ethereal/airy/spacy/romantic side.. i prefer that experimental/ethereal thing they have on like white pony and saturday night wrist.. i feel like there's just not much new territory on this album.. it does have a few good songs but i don't think anyone would say this is their best work.. even the people who like their more straight up rock-ish style efforts ++++++++++++++ i also got ni no kuni: wrath of the white witch on day one of release so far so good on this.. loving the art style, sound, presentation and everything.. i haven't gotten much into gameplay yet because the first hour or so is really just story.. but based on some of the things u can do, gameplay seems to have a lot of depth which i like two things that really stand out so far are music (tokyo philharmonic orchestra), and obviously the animation final thoughts: i would not recommend the deftones koi no yokan.. if you want a deftones album get white pony, saturday night wrist, diamond eyes, or even the team sleep side project i would highly recommend ni no kuni.. like i said, i got it day one so i've only played it once so far but i'm impressed by the sound and animation.. also the fact that its a ps3 exclusive studio ghibli collaboration makes this very unique
