Professor Keller, I have a few questions about correlative data if you don't mind me asking. Is the speech and other correlative data actually going on the campaign? I know we turn it in individually, and I know its under strategies and tactics under step 4 on the campaign packet, and I also got the guidelines for speeches under module 6. However I didn't see a speech in any of the three campaign examples so I'm not sure if it's actually going onto our campaign or not. I think what I'm also confused about is like, who exactly is this person talking in the speech? Is it a representative, or is it a spokesperson? Or does it matter? Is it just whoever I, or we as a group think it should be? How long should it be? The writing tips seemed to leave it very open ended. Is that how I should approach it? Thanks again for your time. i got this response today: The speech is an actual part of your plan. It is a tactic that supports a specific strategy that is designed for a specific public. This public has specific goals and objectives, which are tied back to the research. You choose the speaker. You choose the group he or she is speaking to - one of your key publics. You write the content and develop the visuals - from your research and goals and objectives. I have copied the speech instructions below for your reference: (there was nothing there) this is what people don't get about why i'm always pissed off about school MY grade is on the line.. I am the one being scrutinized about everything, but no one ever seems to look at the teachers and the stupid things they do, and how they are vague and how they aren't helpful and they omit things that should be there let me explain why her response was inadequate: 1. WHY DID IT TAKE HER 3 DAYS TO RESPOND!? isn't teaching this class your job? this wasn't even the weekend, like i don't get it, why would you not be doing at least SOMETHING related to your job monday through friday? if it took you 3 days to respond to a simple email, that tells me you really don't pay any attention to your job at all 2. i asked "Is the speech and other correlative data actually going on the campaign?" it was a yes or no question.. i didn't get an answer i got "The speech is an actual part of your plan." yeah i kinda knew that.. but DOES IT ACTUALLY GO ON THE CAMPAIGN what is so hard about answering a yes or no question? if i ask you about a campaign, why do you start talking about a "plan" wtf are you talking about? are you an idiot? guess what? I HAVE TO EITHER ASK YOU THE SAME QUESTION AGAIN OR JUST WING IT all because you are too dense to type a two or three letter word 3. " I have copied the speech instructions below for your reference:" THERE WAS NOTHING THERE THERE WAS NOTHING BELOW AND THERE WAS NO ATTACHMENT also, within my message i made sure to state the things i've already seen which were "step 4 on the campaign packet" and "guidelines for speeches in module 6" i specifically said that so that she wouldn't refer me back to something i've already seen like a complete idiot.. well she somehow did the only thing worse than that- she gave me nothing at all and btw.. i still don't know how long the speech should be.. what makes me so angry is this class stands between me and graduation.. this project is 50% of my grade and this is the kind of "help" i receive! WHY DO YOU EXIST? HOW DO YOU HAVE A JOB!? YOU DONT DESERVE TO HAVE A JOB!!! i've had nothing but problems in this class, i don't understand why this teacher is so awful.. like why is she allowed to get paid to be incompetent?
