"i don't want somebody loving everybody i need a shy guy.. that's the kind of guy who will only be mine" diana king was droppin gems.. but did any women notice?
the shy and the sensitive.. the media tries to paint us out as worthless or boring but when these women have 3 kids and no spouse and no stability then they start to realize maybe the sensitive, nerdy, caring, boring, sensible, geeky, shy, polite, introverted, stable guy with no jail record was actually a decent choice he was never going to cheat on you, he was always going to hold you to a high standard and make you into a better woman, and he was always going to take care of you and value you it takes someone like diana king to realize that before its too late sometimes not sayin introverts are the only good guys but the media tries to make it like if you're not a jersey shore type dude then you have no value! NOT TRUE! and another thing.. since so many of u women want to change men.. why not try to dust off someone who already seems like a good guy? why not say "i'm gnna make this shy guy come out of his shell more" ? why do u have to go and find the biggest ladies-man slash cheater and say "i'm gnna take this man-whore and tame him?" i mean seriously which option is better? just a few thoughts oh yeah.. and want to point out that i really love how jamaican music and hip hop were so closely linked in the 90s.. back then you had shabba ranks, patra, ini kamoze, diana king, shaggy, born jamericans, mad lion, superkat and more!!!! (btw i might do some more short blogs like this in the future- talking about how songs coincide with real life issues.. i have a belief that songs are far more educational than what they are given credit for as long as they're looked at with a perceptive/objective eye)
