here is something that has been on my mind that i've never talked about
what is the deal with japanese people/culture and their desire to be white, be depicted as white, or to be with a white spouse? if u want a white spouse, that's fine- but it just seems like its almost overboard how much they want a white spouse.. like its their religion or something i've seen this type of thinking in their culture a lot they seem to be very xenophobic with everyone except white people why are all their cartoons full of white people? why are their games full of white people? why do their animated characters have huge eyes? rarely do you see animated asian characters who actually look asian.. tekkonkinkreet had real asians which was cool to see imo oh yeah, and they have those geisha women who are supposedly super beautiful, but they put white makeup on their faces and i don't get why asian mothers teach their daughters to desire white men.. i even spoke to an asian girl online and i said "wow why is your mom so racist?" because her mom kept telling her to be with a white man.. which is fine, but its just weird when race is the important thing to you over other things like character or religion or ability to provide or even physical fitness the girl responded to me and she said "my mom is traditional lol" so she was saying its traditional for asian women to have a "white is right" mentality i'm not writing this out of jealousy or anything- none of this matters TO ME.. i just feel like a lot of asian men must feel bad or left out.. and i don't think any race owns their race of the opposite sex, but when the girl next door to you would rather be with guys in a diff country- or when someone with the same culture as you prefers to assimilate into a diff culture, that prob makes u feel worthless i also feel that japanese people should try to depict themselves a little more as opposed to just depicting others 75% of the time in their art and media i also feel that japanese people should realize they are not white and so they should attempt to de-inherit their racism toward blacks and others.. for example, back when i was in high school a japanese person called me the n-word.. and i didn't really understand why a race based insult was coming from another minority.. like why take sides in a "race battle" that you're not a part of? they largely identify with white sentiments that have nothing to do with them or their history one last thing i want to say about asians is i feel many of them can't take criticism on their race from others.. what makes this so weird to me is that asians have some of the best reputations out there.. their racial reputation is so good that there is an asian man who dedicates a website to ratchet asians and criminal asians, because he said he is tired of there only being one depiction of asians- that being the harmless bookworm so when your racial reputation is so good that you have to go out of your way to show that there are criminals and ratchet people- that says something.. but when someone makes a joke about asians, i usually see them complaining online.. but i feel like they have it so good that they don't really understand racism.. like they get angry about cultural jokes, or even jokes that are compliments like when chris rock did a joke about asian kids taking over the world or something- a lot of asians were upset.. but that was not racist because racism is negative.. racism is when people call you racial epithets, or when they call your women "nappy headed hoes" ..or they say you are all poor, or all stupid, or won't succeed, or something like that like black people can take cultural jokes, so can white people.. but i've noticed asian people largely can't.. like i could understand them being mad if someone said they have small penises.. but i don't get why they are mad if someone makes a joke saying they are so smart they can do their homework via telepathy.. or they are so good at video games that arcade machines give them quarters they will hear a joke like that and get mad as opposed to just laughing at a cultural joke its kinda weird to see them get up in arms over a humorous compliment when black people are largely the ones who experience true real NEGATIVE racism... where people say they want to kill you in a field with a pitchfork or something sick like that when i see asians get genuinely upset over funny cultural jokes/compliments- to me it really speaks to their level of racial privilege btw.. nothing i said encapsulates ALL people (all blacks, all whites, all asians.. these are generalizations meant to be considered) also none of this is meant to be taken as a diss, its more like speculation as to why this stuff exists
