goals and plans Posted by poolboyjames on July 14, 2009 at 5:36 PM comments (0)"i position myself to clock g's"
-2pac (if i die tonight) this line hit me one day, its not even the full bar but to me it said a lot "i position myself to clock g's" i position myself to make money i plan, i ready myself, i get in the correct position in order to execute and obtain a goal i imagine this is where a lot of people are they are in a stage of planning to achieve something greater this is where i feel i am like ok let me get this, then i can get that, once i get that then i can also get these.. when i have achieved these then i'll get those, etc etc being a male, oftentimes people look at u and they say u are "blank" based on what u have or what u are doing however my view is that oftentimes people are overlooked or passed off as unsuccessful people, when the truth is they are executing a plan that may take some time this is often how i see myself like i have goals and plans but because other people don't see these goals and plans, they think i have reached my potential, i feel as though nothing could be further from the truth as we all know, plants grow downward before they grow upward also success is not a dollar amount, it is a state of mind that begins with a belief mark 9:23 states "everything is possible for him who believes" st. augustine said "faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward for this faith is to see what you believe" so when people judge me based on what they outwardly see, i know i can't sweat that because i know i can and will achieve so much more than what they expect its like tupac said in that quote, one must position theirself before achieving.. u don't wake up and have everything, you position yourself.. so faulting someone or being condescending to them because they are in the planning stages of something is a very narrow viewpoint is it not? because after all, "success or failure is often determined on the drawing board." -robert j. mckain word.
