beyonce really is all about that blonde hair huh? i'm not hatin or anything- imo u can do whatever u want to your hair.. but like
she literally wears the blonde so much you would think she was born with blonde hair i mean dang, brah and man.. in the "colorism" talks among black people.. do we ever ask why its only men who get the hostility? black women get on men for A. dating outside their race or B. supposedly liking lighter skinned black women over darker ones, but shouldn't someone like beyonce be just as guilty as anyone for the imagery put out there? i mean.. look at alicia keys for example.. she is half white and you don't see her rocking blonde hair even half as much as beyonce (if ever) not saying beyonce is wrong for it- but like.. i'm just asking.. in the vain of "colorism" in the black community- what effect does someone like beyonce have on young black women? on a purely visual standpoint, is her effect constructive or destructive? or does it even matter? what do u guys think? is it always the men who are to blame for black women feeling like no one likes their dark skin or dark hair? if you've seen chris rock's movie/documentary "good hair" i probably already know your stance... and if you haven't seen it- watch it. just a few thoughts
