the Bible verse that comes to mind upon hearing this man speak is from deuteronomy in ch: 28
"they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways" racist people attack us but they are the ones with the fear lol i see a lot of what they're talking about in this video in the workplace for example at my job they never hire black people without degrees but they will let 20yr old white girls in right out of high school like nothing.. they can know eachother and everything lol.. let me try to get someone hired yeah right or like people who don't work with us will come into our department and talk with certain people just to shoot the breeze.. white people can come in to our department and hang out and talk- let a black person bring someone in to talk.. then its "where's your badge?" "what's going on?" also i started my job at a lower pay rate than everyone else.. i have no idea why.. and i was happy when they raised it to the normal rate, however when i realized that everyone else was already getting that- i felt shortchanged.. like what was that about? .. it also makes sense now that when i said thank you for raising it, no one said anything back to me or on breaks for example... i went in the hallway and sat on a chair.. i was sitting and texting.. i did this for a few days, but then all of a sudden one of the topics in our meeting was "guys, don't sit on the chairs in the hallways" and they're acting like "you all should know better" but i'm thinking wtf.. in reality they just see a black guy sitting and they are afraid i'm going to follow them home or something.. they're like "guys if you have a break go sit in your car" smh.. even the fact that people complained about someone sitting in a chair shows me that my presence alone invokes a fear reaction by some white people its crazy.. but i feel what this guy is saying.. its like of course if i did something to someone- i'd expect them to do something back one day.. or like at school for example.. if you bullied someone for two years and tried to tear them down everyday, you don't want to see them succeed because you feel awkward about it you would definitely feel weird seeing a person you tried to push down excel racism is definitely a crazy thing lol i find it odd that some white people think i am "ethnic" or "different" or something when i am literally the 5th james arthur in my family.. like some race oriented people don't understand i'm not an immigrant lol.. think about that.. i know where the previous 4 generations of my family lived- america.. whereas some of my white friends- their parents are from russia or poland or some other country.. yet i am seen as the 'ethnic' one lol anyway.. just a few words on the nonsense that is racism

since all i show are bad profiles, i want to give an example of a perfect one.. they are hard to find but every once in a while you see one.. this was a perfect profile imo there was not one negative thing in this girl's profile
no "i don't need you" talk, no pictures of herself turning up in the club, no bitter comments about previous men, she keeps God in her profile, nice pictures that exude femininity, no bragging about how "educated" she is, etc to any woman who may be reading this.. do you think this is too much to ask? she keeps it simple i don't even care about these terrible profiles women make anymore, i am just posting them to show u all what is out there A. "looking for my next mistake"
B. "profession: i don't need you" wow, after reading your profile i really want to talk to you! SMH i mean these profiles are nothing but subtle insults or women saying things like "you are not important" "i am just here because i am bored" etc. lol i mean wow i just saw an online dating profile i have to share ok here is one of the pictures she has in her profile ok she got jokes, whatever.. i'm not trippin on that but the issue is how does she look? does she look like this? maybe she looks like this? nope....... these are her pictures NOW UPON SEEING THESE.. DO YOU REALLY THINK THE FIRST GUY IN THAT PICTURE WOULD WANT TO TALK TO YOU!!!!???????
dang man.. lol i mean.. how does she not see her own hypocrisy? she is literally the guy on the right side of the picture!! she is not curvy she is boxy.. built like marsha warfield smh.. i mean she is really looken bonkers in these pictures lol.. and the clothes? lol that blue outfit with the shorts? nicki minaj hairdo? really? lmao like the hypocrisy in place is crazy it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see why the guy on the left wouldn't look at you twice WHY DO WOMEN THINK THEY ARE PERFECT SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY ARE ABLE TO CLASSIFY THEMSELVES AS "EDUCATED" ???? YOU LOOK LIKE THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G. WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU i did a testimony at church and my church is also shown online on youtube.. so i was hoping they'd post it
but they didn't post my testimony yo' that frustrates me i am not a very outgoing person so for me to do a testimony is a big deal so why not post it? i really would've liked to see my testimony get posted online i honestly thought what i had to say would help someone out it really irks me that i did that with the hope of helping someone out and no one will be able to see it smh.. i really feel like i did that with the right heart and at the right time i'm madd disappointed i didn't write this, i ran across it today online
little by little, people are starting to wake up After decades of feminism, Crouse noted that young men are now the ones who set the parameters for intimate relationships, and those increasingly do not include a wedding ring. “And I know the feminists just yell and scream if you say anything like this, but time was, girls set the cultural morays, the standards, the parameters for intimate activity. The girls were the ones that set those boundaries. And now it’s the guys who do,” Crouse told CNSNews.com. “And it’s doubly terrible because the colleges now are predominantly female. So you have some – up to 60 percent of the student bodies are female. And almost all of them are more than 50 percent female. And so the ratio [of] male/female is out of sync. “And that means the girls have to live by the guys’ demands. And that means less romance. They don’t date. The girls, I have talked to numerous young women, lament the fact that they don’t have the opportunity to dress up and go out for an event.” Young women who adhere to a moral code and refuse to participate in the “hook up” culture are now considered social misfits, Crouse pointed out. And they face even more daunting odds of finding a husband than their promiscuous sisters. “It’s really interesting, because Mark Regnerus and Jeremy Uecker wrote their book, “Premarital Sex in America,” what, three, four years ago. And even then, they were very concerned about the fact that young women today are not as likely to get married. And their prospects, if they are not sexually promiscuous, are really low because the guys, if they can sleep around, they’re not interested in going with the girls who don’t put out. “The ones who are very serious get married early. And that leaves the majority of the girls, then, by the time they’re 25 and into their first jobs, the pickings are very, very slim for them. And Mark Regnerus was very, very clear that the quote ‘good girls’ are the ones who are at risk now in terms of not being able to get married.” According to 2014 data from the U.S. Census Bureau, 7.9 million opposite sex couples in the U.S. live together but are not married. A 2014 study by Johns Hopkins University also found that 57 percent of children born to women aged 26 to 31 are out of wedlock. Crouse says the decline in marriage and a corresponding rise in cohabitation is happening despite at least a decade of research demonstrating the societal benefits of two-parent families. “Even researchers from the left are coming out very strongly for the family and for marriage, and saying the two-parent family is necessary for children to do their best," she told CNSNews.com. "It’s not just good for them, it’s the very best. It’s the gold standard. It’s essential for children to reach their potential. And that has to be communicated in the popular culture." According to “projections based on census data, when today’s young adults reach their mid-40s to mid-50s, a record high share (25%) is likely to have never been married,” Pew Research noted in a 2014 study documenting the decline of marriage in the U.S. But men are not entirely to blame for the steep decline in marriage, Crouse pointed out. “A lot of women fear marriage. While feminism is a spent force, the ultimate consequences of that philosophy is a whole generation of women who don’t want any man to tell them what to do, and don’t really understand the give and take that is necessary for a marriage relationship.” However, the box office success of movies like American Sniper, which features a very masculine Navy SEAL, is an indication that women still respond to strong men, she said. CNSNews.com asked Crouse if that means the cultural pendulum has finally swung back in the male direction after decades of feminism. “That’s not certain yet,” she replied. “There’ still a lot of anti-male stuff out there.” Feminism has largely achieved its goal of equality in the workplace, so the movement has “lost relevance” for young women who are now earning more college and professional degrees than men, she pointed out. However, feminism’s effects on the culture – including the historically low marriage rate - will linger for some time to come, she noted. “Feminism was supposed to bring women happiness,” Crouse said. “But the research shows that women today are much more unhappy then they have been in the past. They’ve ended up with far more opportunities, but their personal happiness is way down.” i finally got a chance to peep the new kendrick lamar album 'to pimp a butterfly'
i feel very strongly about this next statement.. "COMPLEXION" SHOULD HAVE BEEN A SINGLE.. complexion is phenomenal and i think it would have gotten a lot of black women on board both for the sound and the discussion (sidenote on complexion: i must say the girl at the end is NICE.. she sounds like a long lost female tribe called quest member to me.. i would have loved to have complexion as a single so she could get shine and people can see there are female rappers who are thoughtful and soulful.. all female rappers don't have to be nicki minaj or "ill na na" or whatever) the other song i feel should be a single is "you ain't gotta lie" kendrick's album is PHENOMENAL i don't think he said anything on this that bothered me i think "i love myself" is kinda stupid and 'oprah-ish' in a sense.. like something you'd hear a fat middle aged woman say.. u know.. like a corny pseudo-enlightenment sort of thing.. however it makes more sense in the context of the themes discussed on the album it makes even more sense after the "loving you is complicated" track.. because you realize the sentiment is not one-sided.. he is dealing with both hating yourself and your decisions and dealing with your outside criticisms, and then he deals with loving/appreciating yourself for who you are i don't really buy albums but i might actually buy this one because it is really good.. this album is just not a joke at all.. its like one big play where one person plays every part (and very well i might add) i've heard some people say kendrick is a weird lyricist and i agree.. his thing is more execution than just lyricism.. he is more unpredictable.. he is like unorthodox.. like he may not always rhyme multiple syllables or puns or metaphors or hyperbole, but you get a sense that its not because he can't.. you feel like he is sort of seeing past all that to a bigger picture that picture in this particular album being the underlying message to black people.. it's basically like his empathy SLASH love letter SLASH blueprint for success in a fallen world i say slash because you get the sense that they are one in the same.. as if he thought.. "how can i express my love and concern for the black community in america?" and the answer was: "to tell them some things i think they can use" i highly recommend this album but you MUST (the first time, and at least a few times after) listen to it front to back... you can't skip around like most albums you can really see why some people are saying this is a classic.. because it really stands on its own.. there are no real trendy things in the record, its more like taking a look inside kendrick's mind.. you can tell each aspect of the record was under his personal scrutiny a phenomenal piece of work *turns on complexion* |
