i was on the internet once reading posts from "gifted" people
when i say gifted.. these people were talking about being "smarter" than most others and the difficulties they face because of it i had to read these posts because i thought it would be a lot of smug and arrogant people trying to impress each other, but it actually was interesting peeping what they were saying one thing stuck with me when i looked over all their thoughts one guy talked about how his brain was wired in comparison to other people he said simple things were sometimes difficult for him to grasp or understand because he always thought about all the factors involved in the answer.. if he was asked a simple question he'd have like 10 answers in his head and he would need the question to be narrowed down a lot more people would make fun of him for "not knowing the answer" but it wasn't so much he didn't know the answer.. it was more that the question (in his mind) was inadequate and a definitive answer couldn't be found without more detail he said more difficult problems were very easy for him to solve because he wasn't seeing so many possibilities.. the more complex or specific the question is.. the easier it is to come to an answer without trying to interpret meaning and balance out so many possible scenarios this stuck with me because this is something i sometimes deal with people sometimes ask a question and i wonder where the rest of the question is.. like to give a quick example.. imagine if someone said this to you "do you like apple pie more?" then you would immediately be thinking "more than what?" sometimes that is how people sound to me.. and when i was in school, sometimes i'd read a question on a test and be like WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? and a lot of times i felt like i would be the only one who had issues with how things were worded.. a lot of questions were just like invalid to me.. i don't know if they wanted u to guess what the test maker was thinking or what so all i'm saying is .. reading about those people was interesting and it helped me to feel more normal in my own skin many things in life are one size fits all but we're all different and its not necessarily bad or good.. it just is what it is

i just woke up from a terrible nightmare
the feeling i got when it was over was like... "stay out of trouble" and "appreciate where you are in life" and "don't envy sinners" because they are the types of people who get in big trouble that you don't always know about that dream was terrible! this is wat is goen on in the gaming industry right now.. the wii u is officially irrelevant
"In just over three months the PlayStation 4 has topped Wii U worldwide sales to become the bestselling 8th generation home console. The PlayStation 4 has managed 5,847,194 units as of the week ending February 22. The Wii U has managed to sell 5,765,484 units as of the same date. The PlayStation 4 launched in Japan this week with sales of 319,689, which is what helped it top the Wii U." vgchartz.com people want to say console gaming is dying.. yeah that's why the ps4 is selling faster than balls i'm just going to say this once and get it off my chest
i hate how women who are involved in video games whether it be journalism, voice acting, or character design are ALWAYS talking about the way women are depicted in games the problem with them only talking about this 100% of the time is it makes me think they don't play games its like the most stereotypical thing for a woman to talk about within the video game industry "i like working on this game because it has a strong female character" "i like this company because the women in the games are heroes" "this game is great because the girl in it has a gun and kicks ass" its like this.. if you are a woman in the gaming industry and i ask you a question about something and all u can talk about is how you like it when women are fighters or feisty or how they go "toe-to-toe" with men.. that makes me think one of three things 1. you are not in gaming because you like them, but instead only to change what you perceive as the landscape of them for your own personal benefits (i.e. you will only be satisfied when every game is flat chested women killing hundreds upon hundreds of men) 2. you stereotype games and gamers as sexist people 3. you don't actually play games.. because if you did you would realize there have been many women in games for years and gamers like them 2013 alone had the following popular games with prominent female characters: bioshock infinite the last of us beyond two souls tales of xilia tomb raider the list goes on.. but women in the industry act like they don't see any of this i can never understand what these industry women are talking about.. all i know is they only talk about one subject "women in games, women in games" blah blah blah it is just so overdone and ridiculous.. do you know what men in the industry talk about? narrative, gameplay, player experience, connection, emotion, environment, character development, the effect of music, history of a franchise etc. etc. so when they interview a female in the gaming industry AND THEY DONT MENTION EVEN ONE OF THE THINGS I JUST LISTED it pisses me off females in gaming i want you to think about something in games other than your stereotypical perception of it being a sexist industry with nothing to offer women if you will actually look around, you will see that ONLY YOU THINK THAT WAY do u even know who samus aran is? claire redfield? did you play skullgirls? do the rpgs hyperdimension neptunia or time and eternity ring a bell at all? bayonetta? note those r just off the top of my head i'm not even trying WOMEN: THERE IS A LOT MORE TO GAMING THAN YOUR BASIC STEREOTYPICAL PERCEPTION when you talk only about how women are depicted as if there aren't positive or cool women in games YOU ONLY SHOW HOW LITTLE YOU REALLY KNOW ABOUT THE INDUSTRY AND THAT IS WHY MANY GAMERS RESENT YOUR PRESENCE.. ITS NOT BECAUSE YOU'RE A WOMAN, ITS BECAUSE EACH TIME YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH YOU REVEAL HOW LITTLE YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS INDUSTRY YOU CLAIM TO LOVE.. ITS LIKE YOU MAKE YOURSELF LOOK LIKE AN IMPOSTOR you go home and turn on the tv or the internet and its like this... Thank you for tuning in. Now a word from our sponsors. GIVE IT A REST ALREADY!!!!! this list comprises my fave rappers in no particular order a lot of people were doing their top 5 lists for a while and i hated them because everyone was on a 2pac biggie and jay bandwagon please note, i am not doing this on image or popularity or money or even how much i like to listen to them.. i'm doing this based on people with strong distinct unique lyrical talent that is well executed ok lets get started the streets aka mike skinner mike skinner to me seems to be as close to a lyrical genius as possible.. he is like the only rapper i've heard who talks about concepts.. not like situations but concepts.. he like analyzes things and .... i feel like i need to keep this short because as i think about his strengths, i can see i could be sitting here explaining it for hours just listen to his song called "deluded in my mind" and "too late" (listen CLOSELY to too late.. like listen for how he uses weather within the song) those two songs are enough to show you why he deserves his spot cam'ron is such a great mixture of things the lyrical prowess, the humor, the street mentality, the bravado.. he is so good at rapping that he makes it sound very very easy.. he also created a style imo.. no one else raps the way he does again, its hard to really explain how good he is at rapping.. he's just absurdly good at rapping.. like he works inside the box but he is always thinking and moving outside of it also violent j is possibly the most creative rapper of all time this guy doesn't just rap words.. this guy planned out a 6 album story from the beginning and CREATED WORLDS.. like this dude literally created worlds for people to live in think about it.. most rappers will do a 16 on a song and thats it... but j will do a 16 and build on that concept for 10 yrs with more and more bits and pieces until you feel like its a real universe.. in a sense he's like rap's version of george lucas ice cube is.......... just listen to the album 'death certificate' thank me later ice-t has a slick tongue.. like seriously i kid you not.. this dude can change your life .. he is very aware that he has an audience so a lot of times when you listen to his music you realize HE IS TALKING DIRECTLY TO YOU
and he will make his point so well that you start nodding your head, not just cuz of the beat, but because you agree.. he's the type to make u stop and think and change what you do with your life this dude is not a joke AT ALL now.. one interesting thing about my list is this.. it has the same number of whites and blacks since ice-t is biracial pretty neat.. i didn't do it on purpose either anyway that's my top 5 not necessarily the rappers i listen to the most.. but they have SERIOUS strengths that cannot be denied and one more thing before i go.. i know my descriptions are EXTREMELY SHORT compared to what i could have said.. but seriously.. i am telling u right now.. i could write a book on this.. these rappers are just enormously talented.. so i had to keep it short a few days ago i got this game called dragon's crown..
i love the art style.. i'm not that far in the game but it is GORGEOUS its a side-scrolling action beat-em-up rpg.. i'm not that far in the game yet but i love it so far if you have a ps3 then get this game devon brought dis tew mah attenchun its interesteng, peep if yew wish there's this band called amusement parks on fire i listened to their album called "road eyes" today i liked it a lot.. here's a song from it.. peep the album if u like the song |
