tonight someone text me and asked if i could cook or not
this got me thinking about roles and duties and things we can offer our spouse when we are married ok so i want to detail the things i can offer my future wife here are the things i can do basic plumbing (sinks, toilets) give advice on what to wear be supportive and understanding yard work kill bugs cook clean set up electronics (from hooking up routers to the internet, to syncing ipods, to buying proper cords, to hooking up new speakers, and then some) do taxes (no need to pay $50 at h&r block or whatever, i'll have it done in less than 10 minutes) oversee the household (foresight, bible knowledge, vigilant outlook, etc) tell you what you do that i love things i don't do work on cars (we r gnna have to have funds for that stuff because i just don't like that type of work) clean showers (its too hard.. its like a real workout scrubbing the shower and it bothers me that it just gets dirty again after all that work) dance (don't ask me to dance because i'm not going to, i've had girls pull my arm and ask me to dance.. lol.. NO. i'm not exactly fancy-free, i consider myself to be fairly reserved.. that is comfortable to me so if people don't like it then they can find their own version of usher or omarion or whatever) overall i want to be a good man for a girl one day i know the Bible says in the last days men will be lovers of self i don't want to be a part of that majority.. i want to give love to my wife and make her feel special i want to be second to her, not in a subservient or pushover type of way, but in a 'commitment' type of way if we both operate with that mindset, like if we both put each other first- i don't think we'll lose
