i watched "the decline of western civilization part 2: the metal years" documentary it was like circa 1987 - 1988 part 1 i think is actually a whole diff movie done in 1981 about the punk scene but i haven't seen that yet anyway.. this documentary was good.. the most eye opening thing was the pool interview w/ chris holmes oh yeah.. and coincidentally, this also kinda goes with my last entry i did about how i stay 'young'.. think about what i said and compare it to his life and what he says/does i felt so bad for his mom after seeing this
i also thought about how demons in hell are laughing at him because when you see him you can see the strongholds they have on his life (i'm not dissing him, just saying) anyway.. this documentary as a whole was good.. it was about the whole glam rock/ hair metal scene from the 80s, they interviewed a lot of artists both established and up and coming and examined their points of view i'd like to see someone do this to rap today the documentary really seems to take a good look at what motivates people to be artists.. i think after watching this it kinda makes most people see that having a normal life is actually a LOT better than they thought, and being in a band is actually a LOT worse than they thought but all i really wanted to say is i watched it, it was good.. i would like to keep an eye out for more music style documentaries
