7 "Ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds of the air, and they will tell you; 8 or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish of the sea inform you. 9 Which of all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this? 10 In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind."

trying to wake up Posted by poolboyjames on June 24, 2010 at 8:23 AM comments (0)so, i've been researching a lot of things about satanism
wow.. its crazy for real in a lot of ways i feel deceived for certain things i've been learning like for example a lot of music is made with the intention of changing the youth culture into people who follow satan.. or for turning people into humanists.. which is different but almost the same thing the main diff between a satanist and a humanist is a satanist will actually do rituals while a humanist will likely avoid that sort of thing but either way it doesn't matter as both people are following fleshly desires without any regard or reverence to God but like ok for example u have a part in the satan bible that says 'to worship me take wine and strange drugs' in other words meaning, this is how u worship me, how u commune with me, how i get closer to u, how i impart my knowledge and my way of thinking to you so with that said, a lot of the music from like the 60s and 70s such as the beatles or the doors, was not only about drug use, but also created during and/or after experiences with drug use drug use that changes u because it opened u up to a demonic experience people talk about how drugs enter them into another world, and maybe u will see something God never meant for u to see.. u do a certain drug and it changes u and your views on life because that is how u commune with satan the name the doors was actually a reference to the doors of another world.. the doors studied the works of a prominent satanist by the name of aleister crowley.. they did their music to affect youth, they thought of a concert as a religious experience the beatles actually have a picture of crowley on their sgt. pepper album.. they described the people on the album as people they like and admire then for an example of their link with drug use u have the song lucy in the sky with diamonds which is about LSD (acronym).. its about dropping acid timothy leary is another satanist and/or pagan preacher.. he tried to make lsd part of a religion back in the 60s.. all these people are connected by experiences or beliefs overall what i'm trying to say is u dont really have to go far to see humanism or satanism in society and we have to guard ourselves from their influences i have a cousin who did a lot of drugs and now she is crazy.. literally crazy.. like she has lost her mind.. like seriously its not a game a lot of people with an evil agenda believe the effects of music and drugs together is enough to affect people for the rest of their lives this is what a great deal of the hippie movement was about u have a leader who is a wolf in sheep's clothing (such as timothy leary) then u have thousands of followers WHO DONT KNOW THEY R BEING LED like timothy leary for example was a self proclaimed "40 yr old smart alec harvard professor who's greatest sin is leading youth astray" youth were drawn to him.. but he spent his life trying to promote modern paganism a lot of music and entertainment is full of these wolf in sheep's clothing leaders who have an agenda to lead people the wrong way.. the funny thing is that the leaders themselves are pawns being used by a wolf in sheep's clothing satan himself.. aka mr. do what thou wilt (ok let me explain why the humanist/satanist "do what thou wilt" is so wrong the Bible says "fear of God is the beginning of wisdom" it also says "a fool says in his heart that there is no God" so according to the Bible, when u "do what thou wilt" u are essentially ignoring what God wants u to do, u have no fear of God, therefore no wisdom, and u are a fool because u have said in your heart that there is no God to regard) so i don't know.. u all be aware of the things u do and the things u take in i will likely have to do my own inventory too and that's real talk like for example: one of my fave groups is 311, but one of their members.. i forgot which one, has a tattoo of crowley's main "do what thou wilt" quote.. then he also has one of crowley's satanic symbols tattoo'd on his back on grassroots (i think the song was called off-beat) nick hexum sings "do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law" to justify his marijuana use then i happened to notice on the song homebrew, its about doing LSD (dropping acid) .. so u can see a few connections there.. u have these influences from paganism that are expressed through the music.. and i don't think 311 is bad people but its like.. i don't know.. maybe it is time to draw a line in the sand u feel me? so yeah.. peaCe a point Posted by poolboyjames on June 24, 2010 at 2:47 PM comments (0)one funny thing about the whole "do what thou wilt" thing is this
just because u run your own life doesn't ensure happiness people who did a crime and got put in jail did what they wanted to do people who get std's did what they wanted to do people who are in rehab did what they wanted to do and i just spoke about consequences.. but even without negative consequences u are still not guaranteed to have happiness in doing what u want while disregarding God for example: what would u do if u came to a place in life where u said, "i have everything i want, and i do everything i want.. but i'm still not happy" ? that can happen and i'm not saying living the Christian lifestyle is all roses either, but i'm saying that if u think living by your own decisions will ensure your happiness, u are deceived and the inverse of that is also true.. if u think that living God's way is totally boring and unfulfilling, u are wrong again and i'm not saying Christianity is 100% fun and i'm not saying sin is un-fun, i am just pointing out the myths that people buy into to justify their lifestyles.. they are just not true cuz ur so smart Posted by poolboyjames on June 23, 2010 at 12:53 PM comments (0)the reason why i love tattoos so much is because it takes a genius to come up with one and have it permanently plastered on their body
like for example a girl on facebook got this one recently: all i can say is it really screams intelligence. wow.. tattoos are so great especially on women.. women who are the world's most beautiful creatures its great to just scribble on priceless pieces of art i'm so happy so many people are smart and cool enough to get tattoos..one thing i REALLY respect is how having a tattoo is no longer a rebellious act in 2010.. however people still do it to "rebel" and/or gain a sense of personal identity overall i love how women de-value their bodies everyday with stupid ass concepts and drawings AWSUM! a dayt Posted by poolboyjames on June 23, 2010 at 1:00 AM comments (0)i went out with a girl today
it started out terribly.. i got to her place and she was like "can u run my friend to the store right quick?" so the three of us rode to the store and back so her friend could get cigarettes - smh - it really put me in a bad mood.. i don't even know what else to say.. i was just in a bad mood after that i could go on about it but i'm just going to try to move on.. ok so when we dropped her friend off back at her house we went to the restaurant when we were inside i just smiled because i was so pissed off.. i didn't say anything or even look at her i just started smiling i was trying to shake off my anger before things got awkward.. i did it and from then on everything was cool she was a cute girl, and after a short period of time i could tell she liked me.. i didn't have to try and be funny or anything, she liked me for me, she wanted to know things about me, she smiled and laughed.. and she even gave me some compliments that was refreshing for me.. like for real i have been around girls who i could never do anything right around.. but this girl showed me a lot of acceptance in the short time we spent together.. that felt good, i wish that feeling of acceptance wasn't always so rare so even tho the date started off terribly, it ended up greatly exceeding my expectations and we actually had a good time.. she was sweet and not distracted or calculated.. she was tuned in and natural as for her looks she has a really pretty face and huge boobs the best thing about her tho is that she is a Christian.. its like that is SO refreshing.. it is hard trying to date people sometimes, its like u don't kno their religion so u go out with them but they end up being atheist and u guys disagree on a lot of things.. or maybe u go out with a "Christian" who doesn't live like a Christian, and i'm not saying i'm perfect but when u have a Christian doing some real crazy ish its hard to take them seriously but with this girl, like she actually has her mind on God like i asked her what kind of music she likes and she named off a bunch of Christian bands i have never heard of lol.. but i was infinitely thankful she didn't say her fave music is plies or young jeezy or some other guy who promotes ignorance and vanity even tho she is cool i have doubts about it working out.. if it could work out then i'm down for it.. but i just don't see how it can work between us because she lives kinda far out, and also u have the fact that later school will be back in and i'll have to head back to clarksville meh.. i can't call it.. but either way, she is a real sweetie and i enjoyed her company peaCe break it down Posted by poolboyjames on June 23, 2010 at 5:32 PM comments (0)i was thinking today about why i do certain negative things like procrastinate for example
well the answer i came up with was the fact that a lot of times i get huge ideas.. visions.. or i see everything at once like ideas hit me a lot of times really quickly like instead of a constant dripping, i get a huge bucket of water splashed over my dome (in the form of ideas) having so many ideas thrown at me at once tends to paralyze me because i see one huge problem as opposed to the steps it may take to dismantle the problem its like... ok say an issue or problem presents itself.. i automatically see that problem as a huge jumble of things i need to do to fix it.. when in reality its not as bad as it looks sometimes.. sometimes its just the fact that it is jumbled that makes it look intimidating its like being presented with a huge knot basically a knot itself represents frustration because of all the toggling, trial and error, and fiddling u will have to do to get it out if someone gives u a huge tangle of cords or a huge knot of string and tells u to undo it u will be like DAMN why do i gotta do this ish? LOL and that's how my mind gets.. its like i see things as a huge jumble and i have to try and break things down into smaller steps so that the task doesn't seem so dreadful or impossible so i'm just putting that out there.. that i will have to work on making things into small achievable steps as opposed to seeing them as huge mountains of frustration its just a place in my life where i know i need to improve peaCe recording entry Posted by poolboyjames on June 22, 2010 at 8:07 PM comments (0)DO NOT READ IF U ARE NOT INTO MUSIC RECORDING
the reason i write about my recording experience is because it allows me a chance to confront my issues with recording, and un-jumble my mind a bit.. this way i can see each frustration i may encounter for what it is and thus bring it back down to eye-level NOW..... i realized my vocals need some work here are the things i need to do in no particular order: 1. i have to create a sort of mechanism or device to hold in the sound around the microphone i need to do this because i can hear how the sound is bouncing off the walls when i record.. when u record vocals u need to create a "warm" environment meaning an environment where sound can't bounce around.. where there's no chance of an echo of any sort i realize i'm going to have to create something to achieve this because i'm not one of those people who records in a closet or whatever.. i record MYSELF, i don't have someone punching me in and out so i may have to get creative to fix this issue 2. i have to compress all my vocals one issue i am having on this particular song i am working on is the fact that due to the way i created the beat, i have to export it out of ableton and import it into garage band to record the vocals there may be a way so i can leave it in ableton to do the vocals but i haven't figured it out yet.. because see the thing about ableton is recording and sequencing are the same thing.. like i said there may be a way to change this but i am not exactly sure how to achieve it yet SO back to compression.. seeing as how i am using garage band for the vocals on this particular song, i have to figure out how to alter vocals in garage band i realize i have been putting this off a lot because i don't likegarage band at all whenever i turn it on i feel limited.. i see garage band as like aprogram for people who want to make a quick song, but as far as for people who really are trying to get in and mix, master, edit, and produce.. i personally don't think it has enough potential to truly get the job done i may be wrong, because in reality.. isn't everything what u make it? this is just something i have to get over.. and i have to go in and either try again to do the vocals in ableton and compress them in there, or carry on like i was and try to accurately edit them ingarage band 3. i have to make sure to set the volumes as correctly as possible.. spanning the track as well as individual words that may appear too low or too high i don't expect to have to do this too much tho since some of this will be affected by the layout of my mic and the compression 4. i have to have performances that have a continuity to them on my song i've been working on i realize i did different vocal styles on the verses and i realize i have to get those under control and hit the listener with a real vocal continuity throughout a song i say this because say u do one verse in "relaxed and cool" mode, then u do another verse in "energetic" mode then u will unnecessarily shock the listener.. this is not the goal, the goal is to make the vocals sound the same throughout the course of the song so that the listener is thinking about music and lyrics as opposed to why the song has an awkward part in it 5. i have to export vocals without the track and keep them in an archive or folder the reason i need to do this is so i always have the vocals on an mp3 or aiff, or whatever file format i am using if i always have the vocals then i can always grab them, along with the track, separately and take them in any studio for some person to alter them if need be even if that person is me, it is good to make sure i have everything that could be useful for future use 6. if necessary pump up the bass of the vocal 7. normalize the vocal overall my thoughts on vocals are as follows: i make beats, i write, i record, i rap, i mix in other words music forces me to wear a number of different hats.. because of this i don't really like to spend a lot of time mixing so my goal is to get mixing down to a science to where i can get vocals to sit in the pocket without spending 2 hours mixing them as for getting things super mixed, like in a pro studio.. right now i am not sure if i will pursue that or not, but either way, my goal is (like i said) to get vocals in the pocket as much as possible without spending tons of time on it mixing is a career in itself.. so because of that, i have to regulate the time i spend on it to the best of my ability thus u have my very defined 7 steps in vocal recording.. my goal is, do the 7 accordingly, and KEEP IT MOVIN peaCe quote tyme Posted by poolboyjames on June 22, 2010 at 1:26 PM comments (0)there are none so blind as those who refuse to see.

i did 3 verses n recorded them the song isn't done cuz i still have to mix the vocals down and do a chorus however i let KB hear it and he made a little video 4 it so if u want to hear a sneak peek of my newer material then peep it out its on the home page ok? and good looken out KB if ur readin this i appreciate ur support! peaCe i dnt get it Posted by poolboyjames on June 21, 2010 at 9:47 PM comments (0)one thing i don't identify with is this whole red/blue republican/democrat conservative/liberal thing
i don't identify with it because any individual is going to have different opinions on different issues i don't see the point of saying u identify with a group when u don't have to.. especially considering that this group may oppose something u strongly defend or defend something u strongly oppose say u r a republican, but 90% of republicans want to vote against a health care thing that would really help u out. then what? do u switch sides? the point of saying i'm conservative or i'm liberal escapes me because it is SO VAGUE what exactly are u conservative or liberal about? surely u can't be conservative about everything and surely u can't be liberal about everything for example: maybe u are conservative about money matters but liberal about sexual matters so i guess u are a liberative or a consiberal u can't say "i'm conservative on political matters" or "liberal on political matters" either.. because "political matters" cover many different issues, problems, decisions, and situations i am not saying everyone who identifies with these labels is dumb i am saying i don't understand the point of these labels to me it basically seems... counterproductive at best |
